If you have the carbon electrodes with the replaceable gel pads, those are less expensive, but a little more hassle & don't conduct quite as well.

I'd avoid the very thin, very inexpensive pads, as they don't reposition well. Those loose their ability to stick onto you, and without that, your TENS, EMS or IF won't work very well!

If you want one of, if not the best electrodes/pads out there for TENS/EMS/IF, this is among the best I've found!

High Quality self adhesive electrode pads 2" x 2" provides ease and comfort and excellent conductivity. Universal Pigtail fits most Electronic Muscle Stimulators and TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator). Use with our Electromassage 2200 electronic muscle massager, Sonic TENS and Sonic MS. Our premium, FDA 510k-approved electrode pads are of excellent quality with a flexible, fabric-backing and superior self-adhesive gel. Intended for use with Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulators (TENS) and Electrical Muscle Stimulators (MS) units, these pads incorporate a 2mm female connector, to fit the 2mm male connector usually provided with most MS and TENS unit lead-wires. Each pad measures 50mm by 50mm (approximately 2 inches by 2 inches). These self-adhesive pads require no conductive gel. Simply position over the desired muscle group and plug in to your MS or TENS unit. Our premium pads should last for 10 to 30 uses, depending upon care of the pads and condition of the skin. The life of the pads may be extended by cleaning the skin prior to use, cleaning the pads occasionally and storing them according to manufacturer's instructions. Electrode pads are available in sets of 16 (TME16) and are suitable for use with the ToneMaster TM2200 and the ElectroMassage System EMS2200 (offered on Amazon). Self-adhesive electrode pads from Sonic Technology have a 30-Day Warranty against manufacturer's defects, and in this case defective pads will be replaced.
