(More customer reviews)item arrived defective.when batteries inserted, nothing happened.no instructions on which way to insert the 3 batteries, but tried all different combinations and still it would not turn on.called amazon customer service as item was bought from amazon (not 1 of its 3rd parties) and rep stated that the item could not be returned, EVEN THO IT ARRIVED DEFECTIVE (and of course you have to open the pkg to find that out!).amazon credited ONLY HALF the cost.BUYER BEWARE:if item description states it cannot be returned, that's even for DEFECTIVE item. I had thought it would be for all reasons other than a defective item, but not so. VERY unhappy to lose almost twenty dollars on an item that NEVER WORKED!!!!will definitely never repeat that mistake by ordering another item of this type from amazon.
